Welcome to the Office of Community Service Learning (OCSL) at The University of Southern Mississippi! Since its founding in 1992, OCSL has served as the volunteer resource center and service hub for community service and service learning for all members of the university community.

More than 40,000 hours annually are served in our community and on the campus. Academic excellence, service to the community and student success is at the heart of every program. See how you can be part of the service movement locally, nationally and globally. The opportunities are waiting for you.

Located in Room 104 of the Hub, the OCSL staff provides technical assistance for students, student groups, faculty and staff. In addition, OCSL has developed into a resource center for academic service-learning and community engagement for local K-12 school districts and the entire Hattiesburg/Pine Belt area.
